Cory Reierson’s role at OH&S Canada combined technical instruction, administrative support, and a customer-focused approach to delivering essential safety training. This experience reflects his adaptability, attention to detail, and dedication to workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Traveled to various locations to conduct training sessions and issue certifications for:
- Overhead cranes and rigging
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
- ATV/UTV safety courses
- Forklift operation
- Elevated work platforms, among other safety-related programs
Delivered in-class training at OH&S dedicated facility in Kamloops, teaching the same safety and equipment operation courses.
Occasionally worked at the front desk of OH&S’ safety supply store, assisting with customer service and entering student records into the database.
Gained hands-on experience with fire extinguishers, including mobile fire extinguisher training and building extinguisher maintenance.
